A native of Shreveport Louisiana, Julieann Banks returned to her "hometown" of Austin Texas in 2007. She also performs doing her own music solo and with a full band as well as playing bass and singing in her pop party power trio The Activates.

Julieann's latest release Magazine and Race was recorded at world renown FAME studio in Muscle Shoals Alabama. The same studios where legendary recordings have been made by Aretha Franklin, Little Richard, Otis Redding and many others.
